What is LDPE

LDPE stands for Low-Density Polyethylene. It is a type of thermoplastic polymer that is commonly used in the production of various plastic products. LDPE is characterized by its high flexibility, toughness, and relatively low melting point, which makes it easy to process and mold.
LDPE is produced through the polymerization of ethylene monomers, resulting in a polymer with a branched structure. The branching reduces the density of the material, giving LDPE its name. It has a density range of 0.91-0.94 g/cm³, which is significantly lower than other types of polyethylene.
